Good old summer vacation....

I loved summer vacation when I was a child. The only worry that I had was if I were going to be bored having nothing important to do. I don't even think I worried about that much until it actually happened in the 70th day of being off for the summer. My brothers, friends and I would always find something to do. We would play hiding go seek, tag, cops and robbers, simon says and other random games I cannot even think of the name of anymore. It's amazing the ideas you come up with as a child. I remember my brother and I used to build huge tents in our living room and then we would put our industrial sized fans (because my dad limited our a.c. usage) under the blankets and create the most amazing fortress to hangout and sleep in. My best friend would come over and we created this kitchen game called Mama's Kitchen. We would mix anything that would create the most revolting concoction as possible and challenge one another to drink or eat the creations. Somehow we got a lot of pleasure out of drinking eggs yolks, Oreo cookies, tabasco sauce and mustard at the same time. We had a blast! I think the greatest thing about being a child is that you can use your imagination and have with just about anything!
Young at heart I will always be....

DIGG!! I Digg you.

Day two and I feel like I am possibly getting somewhere with this whole blog thing and I just might stop talking to myself. www.digg.com is such an awesome site! I am enjoying reading others peoples postings and hope people start reading mine. If there are any tips out there on how to best use Digg please let me know. The internet truly is such a beautiful thing when you know how to use it! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love getting away from the virtual world, turning off my phone and being free from contact with the outside world, but in the past two days I have gotten so much done with my baby brand online and feel like I am slowly, but surely getting somewhere! Woooooohoooo!
By the way, Babies Deserve Best is not the name of my baby brand, but it is the purpose of my blog. I would love to start an online community where new moms and moms in general can feel a sense of community to share their beautiful stories about their babies, funny stories, express their opinions, or share their concerns. I want to hear from parents out there and know what their troubles are in finding the right baby products for their little one, or previous little ones for that matter. I don't have to solve all the problems with my baby clothing, but at least this could be some sort of forum where someone will possibly give you the answers that you are looking for. When my brand is launched, I want that sense of community to be embedded in my brand from the very beginning, through this blog, the charity events I am going to host under my brands name and the ways we are going to give back to the world.
I am starting my baby brand with socks and scratch mittens. So far, the issues I have come across for mothers is that they don't stay on their babies feet and hands. Is this right?
I hope you are having a beautiful day out there...

Once upon a time....

Day one of a very long, but exciting journey in starting my baby brand. You see, I don't have a baby myself yet, but absolutely love high quality, adorable baby products and have lots of ideas for my own brand that I think you are going to love. I know there are many brands out there that offer beautiful, absolutely precious baby clothing, but I am going to be offering something a little different. I know everyone says that, but just wait and see :). This is my very first time I have ever blogged, so I am not even sure if I am doing this correctly. I might end up talking to myself for about a year before I figure out how to communicate to the outside world with this thing.
Moms? Moms to be? Dads? Dads to be? Are you out there? Because I need your help to get things going. Even when I fully get things going and have a product that you can visually see (wouldn't that be amazing), I am going to still love your input and would love to use this blog as a discussion forum for parents out there that have questions that need to be answered about their own babies. I may not be able to answer your question, but I am sure someone out there will be able to help you!
